ran across your blog through a google search… hope you’re managing to get through life all right. hope you don’t take offense, but I’d recommend counseling if you’re not already in it… I did it before and it really helped me out when I was in a tough spot and recovering from a codependent friendship.
I can understand how you are feeling. I have gone through a co-dependent kind of relationship too. I guess as human beings, we are emotional beings, who are looking for relationship. But I have learnt that being emotional dependent on a close friend is not the key to a healthy relationship. I have gotten out of it, although at times, I can see that it is coming again. Take care. So what happend to your close friend who was suicidal ? Hope she is alright.
In the end, she took a year out after high school and stayed at home, after that year, she decided that the formal education route (i.e. A-levels etc.) was not for her but still returned to education by attending an access course and is hoping to go to University next year

I’ve just stumbled upon your blog, and I too am curious about your close friend. Care to share the last part of the story?
